Our camp is situated on the gopeshwar- ukhimath road about 20 kilometer from Ukhimath at an altitute of about 2500 meter above sea level. One of the most picturesque spot in the entire Garhwal region. As you get closer to the camp, you are suddenly transported to a place of serene and natural beauty. The fresh air, lush green surroundings coupled with the sounds of bird songs wafting through the breeze and an occasional barking deer grazing in the forest will leave all memories of crowds, traffic and civilization far behind.
Upon reaching the camp, you are greeted by a large clearing with a green field on one side and the camp tents nestled under a poplar tree grove on the other.

Trekking
Trek in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand – such as Rudranath, Madmaheshwar,Deoriya Tal,Joshimath, Kedarnath, Valley of Flowers and Roopkund– entail trekking for a couple of days in the mountains

Blessed with an incredible diversity of birds, Uttarakhand is home to about 600+ species of birds that are found in India. Many birds are migratory indeed almost half the species that is present in the country India can be seen Uttarakhand only.

Summer
The temperature experienced by Chopta during summer is between 15°C to 24°C. Due to a cool weather and moderate temperature in the summer, people are able to enjoy trekking and camping in this season.
Monsoon
The months of July, August, and September experiences the monsoon and the showers make the weather more pleasant and favourable, however, sometimes an unexpected heavy rain can be a spoiler.
Winter
The temperature range during this season is between -15°C and 5°C. Due to this chilly weather, most of the tourists avoid venturing here. But still, there are a lot of adventure enthusiasts who you can spot enjoy a snow trek from Chopta to Chandrashila.
